Day 1: Arrive in Christchurch

• On arrival in Christchurch, known as ‘The Garden City’, you will be met by our local representative for a private transfer to your hotel. If you’re self-driving, you’ll collect your rental car at the airport.

Day 2: Christchurch to Queenstown (B)

• Depart Christchurch and travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains.
• Stop at Lake Tekapo, renowned for its stunning turquoise waters.
• Continue to Twizel and then through the historic Central Otago region to reach Lake Wakatipu and the alpine resort of Queenstown.

Day 3: Milford Sound (B)

• Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, then to Lake Te Anau.
• Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breathtaking Homer Tunnel to Milford Sound.
• Enjoy a scenic cruise on this world-famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the stunning Bowen Falls before returning to Queenstown.

• Travel through Central Otago to Twizel.
• Follow the shores of Lake Pukaki to Aoraki/Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak.
• Visit the picturesque Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before returning across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.
